Date Energy Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 150g dates (pitted and soaked in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well)
  • 40g organic peanut butter
  • 20g dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 16g chia seeds (1 tablespoon)
  • 40g oats

We always recommend establishing which materials and equipment you will require to make this recipe prior to starting.

METHOD

Step 1: Place the pitted dates in a food processor or blender until they’re in small pieces.

Step 2: Add the oats, chocolate, chia seeds and peanut butter to the date mixture. Mix until smooth for about 30sec.

Step 3: Carefully roll into balls of about 3cm, using the warmth of your hands to form them together. You will be able to make about 10 balls.

Step 4: To set it, place it in the fridge. Keeps fresh for up to a week in an airtight bag or container. Freeze for long-term storage.
